”Only by being willing to move beyond the concept as we (think we) know it can we open ourselves up to a phenomenon or set(s) of phenomena whose simultaneous density (‘‘thickness’’) and elusiveness (or ‘‘thinness’’) belong to the ‘‘heart’’ of its ‘‘matter’’ and constitute its references in their very ‘‘essence,’’ that is to say, their logic and grammar.” (de Vries, 2008)

On Thursday October 24 we will meet again for the FOAT meeting. We will discuss the introduction of ‘Why Still Religion’ from Hent de Vries, pages 1-18 and 27-36. Daan Oostveen, member of FOAT, has suggested to discuss this text, and he will provide an introduction to the text during our meeting.

We look forward to seeing you all!
